Was he complaining about "Jews" in GENERAL or just
those PARTICULAR Jews - likely just out of the death
camp or deep basement ???

I never remember anyone saying that war smelled sweet.

Was he complaining about "Jews" in GENERAL or just
those PARTICULAR Jews - likely just out of the death
camp or deep basement ???
I never remember anyone saying that war smelled sweet.
This was written by General Patton in September 1945, not April or
May. The jews at that point had about 5 months to bathe and wash their
clothes. You could walk into any synagogue today and make the same
observations as the General did that day. It's in their DNA.

was still BOMBED OUT then. Your "house" could easily
be a pile of rubble with a canvas thrown over ...

Sorry - no showers, no soap, no Old Spice ... what
a NAZI world looks and smells like.

If you were lucky there was enough spare DDT to
kill the typhus louses.
